Hi TTM, and Welcome Back

Sorry it has taken so long to get to you, but the board has been very busy lately, and all the Helpers here are volunteers.

I see no malware in your log, but why have you never updated your XP installation past Service Pack 1 (SP1)? Until you update your system to SP3 and all the security updates since then, your system will be needlessly vulnerable. You need to go to Windows Update and install all Security updates.

After that, please post a new HijackThis log.

Hello Joker and txs for your reply! No problem at all in the delay I realize quite well that everyone has got many other things going on in their lives in general so HJT log file viewing comes when it comes and I DO thank you for having given me peace of mind...thanks for the tip about upgrading to the service packs it's a good idea for sure and will do this when I can squeeze a bit of time in.

Best regards and many thanks to you.
TTM

Hello again to The Joker and many thanks again for your help. Well as I told you before I will install service pack as suggested and sometime sooner rather than later I will get back to you here...may I close this topic for the time being ? knowing already that it might be a while before I get around to doing the installs I would not want to take up valuable forum space...so if it is acceptable you may close this thread.....thanks again! and best regards to you.
