The skin chooser is a drop-down menu at the bottom left of each page. Choose 'Blue' and see how you like it.

It's not as high contrast and easier on the eyes. Thanks cnm!

Should I make Blue the default skin, do you think?

There is also a beta from IPS which I'm testing, IP.Board Classic Blue (Import).
It is pretty buggy - no search box! and only visible to admins as yet.

I think on the last update there were more people that liked the newer higher contrast one than the original skin, so I would say leave the default as is.

I prefer the default and could even use a little more contrast in some areas...

I could try and make a super-high-contrast one. Which areas, Budfred?

I am not paying enough attention to the colors and contrast to be able to answer that... I just notice that sometimes the borders of things are a little more difficult to sort out, though I think my eyes are adjusting to it over time... To be honest, the interface doesn't make that much difference to me unless it is hurting my eyes, like some of the black and red forums with flashing images all over the place...

The blue reminds me of how the board used to look. I do like the default better though, and I'll be sticking with it.

Nice. Blue is a little easier on my tired eyes.
