Merijn has a new mirror site which can be found at:

[Removed link, see below - site changed hands]

The new mirror space has been donated to help in the fight against spyware and other parasites.

Also Merijn has adopted a new download format in which he is using multiple download sites for each of the files so if one site should become unavailable, you will still be able to download them elsewhere.

This mirror has been closed to the public.

It seems that since Merijn sold HijackThis, he has had no further use of my mirror and has not updated it in quite a while now.

Besides..... He has better mirrors out there anyhow :)

For easier navigation, the Officefive Download Server has been redesigned. The web page mirror of Merijn.org has been discontinued - I'm only mirroring the files instead. I have mentioned on the website that it is hosted in Germany.

Just to add to this, my old domain richardthelionhearted I had allowed to expire back in May of this year.

Since then, someone else purchased the domain and now anyone going to my old domain WILL get redirected
(last I knew) to an adult site full of security exploits and will risk getting severely infected.

Back when I did have a domain, I offered Merijn a mirror site to help out cause I figured the more mirrors that were
available at the time, there would be less chances of his site being brought down by Denial of Service attacks which
seemed to be happening a bit more frequently at the time.

At the time when I closed the mirror down, Merijn hadn't accessed or updated it in awhile compared to his other
sites as he no longer had need of my mirror site.

As cnm says, use http://75.127.110.25/~merijn/ to access Merijn.org

Stay away from any links which contain richardthelionhearted.com in them

Hi guys, thanks for your mirrors, and sorry for not updating them as often as I should. I have a complete (static) mirror of Merijn.org online at http://merijn.castlecops.com/ that will do until I get the domain name back.

Hosting is still live, it's just GoDaddy being annoying right now. Not owning the domain name myself complicates things when trying to renew it, to say the least.

Merijn, Why don't you update the site itself? I gave you FTP and SSH access back in September. You can use DirectAdmin to do just about anything, including edit your files.

I see your registered address here is at spywareinfo.com. That won't work.

Hello everyone!
Just to help you out even more i m posting the following url from which GoDaddy started an auction for expired domain of Merijn.org:
https://auctions.god...x?miid=18685424

Owner should act really really fast if he doesnt want to loose his domain, auctions ends in two days. If domain owner doesnt not renew in those two days then the domain will be sold the highest bidder.

I can write more for the procedure if you want but i feel now its time to let the owner know that he is going to loose his domain.

If onwer(Merijn) needs help i ll be happily to give a hand(or two).

Unfortunately the owner is Mike Healan, and there is no way to contact him. GoDaddy won't let anyone else renew the registration for him.

Hacks.info > I would appreciate all help in getting the domain name merijn.org back. I already bought merijn.nu in case all else fails, but the original is always the best option. What can you do?

There's about 8 hours left in the auction right now. :(

GoDaddy has been completely unwilling to even discuss the possibility of protecting these domain names, presumably because they can make a lot of money putting them out there for whoever will grab them... Unless someone has deep pockets and can outbid the current bidders, there isn't anything that can be done to stop them selling to criminals or whoever thinks the name is worth more than $3000... I can't imagine anyone having a legitimate use for it other than you, so I assume it is criminals fighting for it...

EDIT: Is there any chance that TrendMicro would have an interest in protecting it??

I doubt that it is criminals. Merijn.org had a page rank of 5, which makes it valuable for running ads and collecting click revenue.

Incidentally Google has given the permanent URL http://75.127.110.25/~merijn/ the page rank 5 - which means lots of people have changed their pointers and shortcuts. Good :D
And Google has removed the page rank from the parked domain. Good for Google! :D

Well only hope for domain is to contact Mike Healan, if this is not possible then domain will be auctioned to the winner in about 30 minutes. Currently the price is at $6000, really high for me, i could have bought it at $2000 but now its too high and i cant follow.

As i wrote in email to Merijn i m willing to host under Hacks.info everything you had on Merijn.org for free under a subdomain or subdirectory.

There is no need for that, as the site is alive and well at http://75.127.110.25/~merijn/
We gladly host it for free.

If Merijn registers a new domain,, then we can attach it to his site.
