      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

  4. It's nice to think so.
  5. Thanks for remembering.
  6. Thanks for pointing out unchecky. I think Budfred only objected to live (clickable) link.
  7. I believe unchecky is a good very lightweight program to call your attention to bundling and provide an opt-out. Review by PC World: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2363165/how-to-avoid-installing-bundleware-with-the-help-of-unchecky.html

Cyber-crooks typically claim the social network has released an “official” app that reveals stalkers, ex-lovers, peekers and profile viewers. In February, a new ‘Profile Viewers’ add-on dropped Trojan.JS.Carfekab.A to spy in victims’ browsers. Carfekab was also capable of posting messages on users’ behalf and sending their personal data to the attackers’ servers, according to Bitdefender Labs." ...

  12. For most antivirus, the fact that you no longer get updates renders the software essentially worthless and they don't care if you have it on your PC.
  13. Since chats were little used, they have been removed. Also we prefer that all communication be done via posts in the forums so that others may benefit.
