Well, since I'm only using this PC temporarily, as my old one's motherboard got fried, I haven't cared too much for security, I had AVG installed but that was about it, I've had a few trojans on this PC, all removed quite happily.

Then today I was searching for a Keygen for Macromedia Fireworks (Meh) and as is obvious when going to a crack site you've never been to before. I downloaded it, ran it, and boom, 10 trojan warnings from AVG. I healed all 10, then run a scan. This time it found another 10, so I healed them all too. This time I just scanned the system because it had taken too long to scan, it found nothing, so I had a look around the folders in Documents and Settings, and under all users I found a malicious .exe file, which was created at the same time as the viruses, I scanned it... Nothing? I deleted it anyway (After taking a look at my HijackThis log I'm sure it was malicious, but it, and the Registry entry are now removed)

Well, I deleted the registry entry for that, and another file that AVG had identified as malicious, here's my current HJT log:

Scanned with Spybot S&D:

Alexa Related - 1 Entries
Smitfraud-C.Toolbar888 - 2 Entries

Removed them...

Scanning with AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5, so far it's found:

Adware.PurityScan
Trojan.Maget
Not-A-Virus.PSWTool.Win32.Brutus
Not-A-Virus.HackTool.Win32.Homac
Trojan.DNSChanger.ih
Backdoor.Rbot.bpq

By the way, my number 1 priority is just to KNOW if any of those are Keyloggers, if they are, please tell me immediately.. Then obviously my priority is getting those, and then everything else removed.

Hi,

Sorry you’ve had to wait for a few days but all of the helpers here are volunteers and we’ve been really busy recently.

If you still need help, please post a fresh HijackThis log into this thread so I can make sure nothing has changed and I will be happy to review it for you.

:)
