I'm having a problem on one of my client's PCs - other PCs on same network are displaying this behavior. When you search in Google, the results page looks entirely normal (the URL displayed beneath the link and excerpt looks correct), but when you click the link you get re-directed to some random page (not always the same one for the same search result) - last one I remember was something called WakWeb. I've run 3 spyware scanners (SpyBot, AdAware, and SpySweeper) and they removed a lot of junk, but obviously something I can't find remains. Virus scan returned nothing. This is the first time I've encountered something I couldn't removed with SpyBot or AdAware - I guess I've been lucky. What should my next move be? I'm afraid that my client is starting to think I'm just padding my invoice.
