Posting for a friend (Signed on under her new registration)

Her OS is XP home edition.
She runs Spybot and Adaware regularly and has recently added ewido.

Her Problems began with a network setup (router - no longer being used).
Problems that persisit after fix (with above software) are:
system reboots periodically with error messages - ex: system has recovered from a serious error
requires approx 4 scan disk cycles to remove message (if at all)
System freezes, graphics issues (ghosts)
Reinstall required for some programs after routine scans (ie: photoshop)
no audio (new issue)
system slow/sluggish

My HJT logfile:

Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

Hi,

The formatting of your post is messed up. This is caused by not having Word Wrap checked.
1. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad
2. On the menu bar in Notepad select Format and click on WordWrap so it appears checked.

Post a new HijackThis log and I'll take a look.

Regards,

Rosty.
