Well it started a few weeks ago when my wireless connection was constantly disconnecting me from the internet. I tried to find solutions to the disconnections, but I didn't find anything of use. A typical disconnect was random and happened over 12 hours. It seemed to disconnect every 3-5 minutes or more (if I was lucky). When I stopped using the linksys wireless monitor, it seemed to disappear.

And then it seemed a monster entered my computer and started to make my internet slow down to a halt. It would randomly stop loading in the middle of connecting to websites and freeze up for a split second and give 500 ms when playing games. I looked at my processes and figured that the CPU would spike up to 20 percent and then back to 0 in a very short amount of time. I couldn't figure out which process was doing this because the process wouldn't take up 20 percent for long enough for me to see it (the processes would blink) The spikes had around 30-60 second intervals and hindered my internet.

I just downloaded a firmware upgrade (at a very slow speed) for my linksys router and It seems to have gotten worse. Now when I'm playing WoW, I get a constant 500 ms and when playing Warcraft 3, I get split second spikes every 10 seconds, causing a 4 second delay after it happens. The lag also affects other games. The thing is that this doesn't affect my parent's computer (their computer is directly connected to the router). I'm thinking it's a major virus or something like that. I've had a lot of viruses and spyware before, but this is a first. That is why I'm confused. It also could be someone else using my bandwidtth.

I've also downloaded HijackThis for some help.

Well, after a day and a half. I finally found out the problem. It was my wireless card. The device wasn't updated. Hope this helps someone. Firmware wasn't the only thing I needed.

Thanks for nothing, :scratchhead:
