I have read the faq section, and tried the items there. Below are the symptoms, resolutions I have tried, and a hijack this log.

Symptom:
=========
A fair number of pop-ups while surfing the web - the most common is "ad.doubleclick.net" and orbitz (at CNN)

Attempted Resolution:
=================
I have run: lavasoft-adware and spybot Search & Destroy. When done and I surf again, the same thing continues. I run the tools again and I see the same problems.

If I run S&D again I see the same few items that I had previously attempted to remove. Those issues are:

Advertising.com
Avenue A, inc
CasaleMedia
Doubleclick
MediaPlex
Zedo

I ran hijackthis. I recognized most of the items shown there. Thre is one cryptic entry with brackets and a string of numbers - I have no idea what that is.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

There are likely more issues than I know what to look for.

I have checked my programs and control panel/"add remove software" and I didn't see anything that I didn't put there.

This is not a HUGE annoyance, just ticks me that I can't seem to fix it. Below is my Hijackthis log. Any help would be appreciated.
