      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Cant remove Clickspring!!!

2 posts in this topic

I have been batteling clickspring for the past few days. I havewindows vista. The only thing more annoying than the popups it generates, are the virus notifications I get from AVG and OneCare. Neither program as well as adaware, or spybot can remove the devil. I have not found any associated proccesses either. Here is my Hijackthis log. Also... When I run the scan on hijack this, AVG popups with a notification that "core.sys" in the system 32 folder is infected with a trojan. I have been entirely unable to remove that file and nothing can clean it. any suggestions?

Fixed problem. core.sys and core.cache.dsk are Trojans. Both files are encrypted and lock out all user privileges so delete is impossible even on reboot using a "delete on reboot" program. I had to use Vista repair computer option (F8 key on boot) to get into dos and manually delete "c:\windows\system32\drivers\core.sys and core.cache.dsk" After those files were deleted I rebooted into safe mode and created a dummy file names core.sys, encrypted it and removed all user privileges. When I booted in to windows normally everything was cool, no more problems. However I still think there are some leftover stray reg keys and such. which is why I created a fake file.
