I ran combofix and it come to the point where it says "almost done A report of ComboFix's actions would be produced at C:\ComboFix.txt " And I left it sit for over 2 hours and it did nothing further . I went to that location and tried to open the txt file and it said i was not authorized to open it ?? " You may not have the appropriate permissions to open the file"
I also went to add / remove programs and removed anything that had to do with symantec , but my hijackthis log still shows symantec things in it , how do i properly remove all the files ?

Thatks for the help , maybe you can tell me something further ?

Hi,

Sorry you’ve had to wait for a few days but all of the helpers here are volunteers and we’ve been really busy recently.

If you still need help, please post a fresh HijackThis log into this thread so I can make sure nothing has changed and I will be happy to review it for you.

:)
