I am not a helper here, but your problem may be simple.
If it came with a restore CD (or 2) this is very easy. Just pop it in and follow along. Do you have a one?
Also, if you are surfing the web, you will get adware and spyware on your computer just about everyday -- that is probably what is causing the pop ups. Follow the instructions in the "read before you post" and your problem may be gone. Basically, get spybot search and destroy, run it, get Adaware and run it. Hopefully you have a anti virus program too (Norton, etc), run that.

You dont click on the CD when u want to use it to restore. You put it in the CD drive and reboot. During the boot, the puter will see it is the restore CD and ask you if you want to restore -- answer the questions and follow along. ok?
By the way, if you have any files on the puter u want to keep, make back ups now, because they will not be on puter after using restore CD to restore.
