My laptop was infected with what norton called "bloodhound.packed". Norton took care of most of them. But it canīt seem to fix the CWS_NS3 problem.
I also use a program called Spysweeper, this is the software that keeps on finding CWS_NS3 - removing it REPEATELY! The information I get on Spysweeper is the name of the hijacker which is always the same; CWS_NS3. But thereīll always come up a 2nd adware, the adware would change itīs .exe file name, but it always start with "CWS_NS3"
CWS_NS3 starts up by itself on start-up. it makes my computer all sluggish, pop-ups when i start up internet explorer, sometime it even denys my internet acces and worse, online crushes!
Iīve used the CWS-shredder, didnīt solve the problem. Iīve deleted all the cookies and the TEMP folder on my computer, that didnīt work either.

My computer is a Compaq, presario 700. I use XP. I got norton virus 2004 and spysweeper.
