For some reason, my language bar has disappeared from the main taskbar. When I go to Start - Settings - Control Panel - Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options - Regional and Language Options - Languages Tab - Details, the button called "Language Bar" is grayed out. This makes no sense because I've always had my language bar as I constantly need to switch between languages. I don't know what could've caused this. I'd appreciate any help on the matter.

I got the same problem. The reason, I guess, may be that we deleted some files unconsciously. You have to remove the input languages and reinstall them.

Reinstall the latest service pack. If the item is still greyed out we'll have to manually edit the registry but it does sound like you are missing some files.
