      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Cleaning up CoolWWW remnants

5 posts in this topic

I've partially removed this manually by booting off a setup CD and removing the file. Cleaned up App_Init and other registry entries and finished off with Ad-aware and Spybot to get rid of anything I missed. CWShredder is coming up clean.

However in Sysinternals Filemon (which is what I used to help track down the culprit) I'm still getting access attempts from svchost.exe and other applications (not all). Can anyone shed any light on where to look to finish the cleanup.

Customary HijackThis log follows with !LOG!.bat output further below but I don't see anything relevant in either.

The Message board tells me "You are not allowed to use the messenger feature on this board" and a google search doesn't bring up anything useful?
