Thanks for the help!

After fixing this --> O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IST Service] C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe ... it would just show up again and I also was not able to remove the folder c:\program files\ISTsvc\ access was denied....would you recommend deleting these in safe mode?

Here is my new log...

Ok do this Buster press ctrl alt delete at the same time, this will open the windows task manager, click on the processes tab and look for istsvc.exe and highlight it, then click the end process button.

Then run HijackThis again and place a check beside the following. After that close all other windows and click fix checked.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8F4E5661-F99E-4B3E-8D85-0EA71C0748E4} - C:\WINDOWS\wsem218.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MessengerPlus2] "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2\MsgPlus.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IST Service] C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe

Then go to C:\Program Files\ISTsvc and delete the folder.

Next reboot and delete C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2 <---folder.

Reboot one more time and post a new log.

By the way the reason I want you to delete Messenger Plus is it is why you are having problems. When you installed Messenger Plus it installed a Hijacker known as Lop.

ok...think we got it all fixed. I had a feeling messenger plus was a cause of the problem. I won't be using that program again!

I also removed the following...
O9 - Extra button: PowerBand (HKLM)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [uhltpmksllh] C:\WINDOWS\System32\fmfaxem.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\fmfaxem.exe

Thanks again for the help!

Here is my new cleaned up hijackthis.log...
