      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Hi guys,

I have just read that you have been inundated with posts regarding this problem, so I apologise to add to them.

My home page in internet explorer has been hi-jacked to something called 'Home Search' with the current address - 'res://fdcng.dll/index.html#44272'. By running AdAware (01R325 27.06.2004) and Spybot I seem to get rid of the effects, but it keeps creating new variations by changing the letters such as res://exwzc., res://mshp. etc. I am not getting at the SOURCE. Perhaps the source is located in my Hijack This log but I am not sure what it is.

Could you please analyse my log to see what I need to delete.

Mother Lion,

Your solution of the Ad-aware and Zone Alarm combo seems to have worked a treat. I have had no problems since, my home page has stayed at the address I set it at. I wanted to wait a few days before responding to make sure it had worked.

I have just received an e-mail regarding a new fix for the problem, so if it does come back ( :gasp: ) I will employ that, but until then your original solution seems to have worked.

Thankyou very much for your help. You can't believe, or maybe you can the frustration I had over this problem.

Jock. :D
