Hello everyone,

Which is your favorite IRC client? Currently, I use mIRC for #privacy and other related things, but the 30-day evaluation period has ended, so I am wondering if I should register it, or look for a different client

I use Trillian. Nice and safe.

However, I noticed that its IRC chews up 99% of my processor cycles when I have Netmeeting running at the same time (very rare, only for anime conferences).
Signature file is under revision. This will be back shortly.

I like mIRC myself nice and stable the only bad thing is the 30 day time limit if you dont buy it but you can still use it after anyway :D. It also has a nice simple gui (graphical user interface) with lots of nice features and it can be connected to lots of servers at the same time.

I've been using mIRC for years. I've got a registered copy, and haven't really seen any reason to change.

Trillian is awful for IRC. Hydra would be good if it had any scripting support. XChat is good.

You could always give QwIRC a shot.

I use it personally and haven't had any problems with it.
