On my system at the moment I have:
IE 5.5 (Up-grading to IE 6 on the 1st July)
Mozilla 1.6 (My Fave)
FireFox 0.8
And I was just wonderin which was the best (safest) web-browser.
Thanks

When that is done, dump IE and continue to use Mozilla, plus you can upgrade to Firefox 0.9.1 at:

IE is the least safest browser of them all. Whatever you use has to be an improvement.

MSIE is the most used Internet browser in the world. Here is the proof :

BUT that doesn't mean it's the very best one and certainly not the safest one.
Alot of malware-authors use the weak points of MSIE to get as many victims as possible.
Firefox has also alot of extensions to meet your personal wishes.

me.jpg 3.43KB 11 downloadsHey guys, Im kinda new at this still, but im using windows xp, and im looking for a good antivirus. I had avg, but I had to do a system recovery on my comp, and now for some reason when I try to download it says theres errors on some of the files, so I need to find another scanner. Hopefully something good and maybe free
A couple of other decent free AV's are Avast http://www.avast.com...ast_4_home.html and Antivir PE Classic http://www.free-av.com/
But if your really attached to AVG you could always try to uninstall and reinstall it, that could fix the problem.
