      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Little help, please???

About:Blank got me too. I followed Daemon's suggestions on his 1:43 post at this thread: http://www.spywareinfoforum.com/index.php?sh...=10687&hl=blank

This seems to have eliminated the incredibly annoying home page switch. However, I can't use the address bar on Explorer to search --- the same "Search for..." page that used to come up as my Blank homepage now appears when I try to search using the address bar. The site address which appears is: http://s1di.d8t.biz/index.php?aid=20038

I'm relatively computer illiterate, so I'm not sure what to do next (although smashing the computer in frustration is starting to sound better and better).

HijackThis shows the following, although its all Greek to me:

Can somebody please tell me what to do (in Fixing Computers for Dummies terms)?

Also, if you had to pick one anti-virus software, which would it be. I foolishly let my PC-cillin lapse, but I need to get up to date (not sure if that would have helped here).

Thanks much.
