      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

CWS - A little differently

2 posts in this topic

Prologue: I have read the required FAQ on your homepage, and I have run updated versions of both Ad-aware and Spybot S&D.

At this point, I have two problems (probably related).

1) I've been cleaning my computer everyday for the past week. Everyday the CWSShredder seems to work, and my Ad-aware seems to clean my registry of all CWS malware (and others). I'm usually good for the day, but the next day brings the same problems - my homepage is hijacked to about:blank, CWSShredder finds another thing to fix, and Ad-aware finds the same malicious registry values from CWS (sometimes along with some others). I can't find a durable fix. My HJT logfile is listed below.

2) When I go into my control panel under "add or remove programs", I have a program listed as "AdWare & SpyWare". When I attempt to remove it using the "change/remove" button, there is no option for removal, rather a web page opens up for "Adware Remover Gold". I would like to remove this program - thus far, no one has even been able to touch on this issue.

I would appreciate any help.
