Hey there. The last few days I've had my AVG Security warning Pop up telling me there is a Trojan on my CPU that needs to be removed by running AVG, but when I do nothing is detected. I've updated my Shredder / AVG / Spybot programs frequently, re-ran each, and still nothing detects this Trojan.

However, the AVG Alert pops up at least 5 times a day, and I'm out of ideas on how to get rid or find this thing. I took a screenshot of it and I'll tack it up, maybe someone here as encountered the same thing and good give some advice!

Thanks!

The trojan is stuck in a system restore point, to remove it you must turn off system restore, this deletes all your old restore points, then turn it back on.

Make sure you have AVG setup as I show HERE for maximum protection.

The Restore was a Success, and I re-configured my AVG settings as suggested. Thanks again for the help!
