Ok this is my problem, A few months ago back I had a similar problem where my Windows Task Bar/ Start Up bar would freeze and my internet would not work. We found out it letting it sit for a while was the key but in this case it was not. We have figured out how to unfreeze the task bar but not fix the internet. We had a similar case where the internet would not work because of a spyware file. We tried running Spy Bot, Ad-Aware and Spy Killer 2004 and nothing came up. It says we are connected to the internet but I can't get out to it. I tried phoning the company I bought this computer from and they said I have corrupted some file and I need to down load hijackthis! but the only problem is I can't get to the internet to recieve that file.

Any suggestions or complete answer would be appreciated.

As you can post here, you have access to another computer.

Hijack this can be downloaded on another computer, and transferred using a floppy disk. The log can be transferred in the same way.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!

Hijack this may also be transferred via CD Rom, and Usb memory stick.
