[B][FONT=Arial][SIZE=7][COLOR=purple] :techsupport: I loaded hijackthis and saved my log as a text message. I know I have spyware on my computer, but can not find a free spyware program to install. I have 670mb left on my 10GB hard drive for C and I am in the process of moving things over to another computer so I can kill this one and start it over.

About two years ago, I had a screen come up and a I was moving my mouse a button was clicked. Thus, resulting in my pixels displayed being huge. It looks as if I am in some form of safe mode, but I am not. I have yet found anyone to help me resolve this and get me back to normal.

And all this info on spyware I am trying to find something to get rid of it. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

I am running Windows98 SE

Thank you so much,
Purpleangel

purpleangel:

Install the following (all free) programs:

Ad-Aware Click Here
CWShredderClick Here
Spybot Click Here

Also, if you need to run an anti-virus I suggest running Norton's free internet version Click HereClick on the "Online Virus and Security Check"

If you have problems after running those programs, make sure Hijack This is in its own file (e.g. c:\HJT) and run Hijack This. Then post you Hijack This logfile and someone may be able to help you.

It sounds like u have many problems and following the Fist suggestion will get you moving in right direction.

Did you try to change resolution? That would cause the appearance to change. Start/appearance and themes/change the screen resolution. Then use the slider to choose resolution you like best.
I like mine with tiny pixels -- far right. This make window smaller and tough for those with poor eyesite. Set it how u like....

Fist and mjp65aa, I appreciate your help, and my pixels are now fixed and have done all four things that Fist suggested. Upon restart my computer seems to be a little better. I have a ton of things on startup now and do not know how to get rid of them, as well as, a lot of dll's missing when some things want to load on startup.
Sorry to be a pain, but is there a way y'all know of to fix this?
Again Thank you soooooo much.

purpleangel:

Download Hijack This Click Here. Load it into its own directory (e.g. c:\HJT). Run Hijack This and post the log in your next post. This will help people figure out what you have on your computer. Don't attach it as a text file, but copy and past it into your post.
