I am getting this exact message,I'm very non-tecy,my brother whose away for 2 wk.s built my pc just 2 months ago.But I get this message as windows opens and closes. It seems it began at the same time as my CD Rom message stated upon inserting my game cd's,Autorun setting off.So now all game and other cd's put into my CD Rom give errors and have been reinstalled,w/o success.I can't even get their exe.'s to open correctly,it acts likde it is statrting up,but then nothing.I know very little about pc's,and don't even know what this could mean or if their connected,I just know I can't play games! I been trying any freeware to see where the poblem is(hoping it is a simple step by step fix) but found nothing as far as problem solving freeware that has found this,Auto play is checked but I have to change it from music cd's to misc data each reboot.I am so lost, confused and frustrated,no gaming makes mne a Bitchy lil girl, lol.
Any,and every help or suggestions will be highly appreciated,I know I have a 2 gig processor,1 gig ram,75 of 80 gig HD space available, any other needed info I will gladly get if anyone just tells me whereto find it.
please help,I'm desperate for my gaming distraction time!
Thanks in advance! :gasp: :hmmm:

We need a closer look at what's happening.
Please download Hijack this
Copy it into its own folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, do Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!
