Ok so we got this Home Search hijack that grabs every browser window when it opens and points it at res://mtosy.dll/index.html#37049 and I can't get rid of the dang thing. We've tried Norton Antivirus 2004, AdAware, Spybot S&D 1.3, and the trial version of Trojan Hunter, all with the current threat definition files, plus other things from the faq.

Here's the Hijack This log - can anyone help ? Please ? Pretty Please ??

Thanks,
Gary

Hi chairman,
Please update your HijackThis.
Double click the exe
Got to Config > Misc. Tools
Hit check for update > then OK.

Be sure to check the title before posting: Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

If it does not say 1.98, uninstall 1.97.7 & download the updated version from here. Unzip it to the same folder your previous HijackThis was located
