I am randomly getting these messages about Unauthorized changes have been made to Windows, which say something about not reporting errors or something (I'll post the message next time it shows up). Everytime a message shows up I won't be able to access Control Panel (it shows up and closes almost immediately) until after I have restarted my computer, but then the messages would show up after a while. I also keep getting random popups so I figure that might be a problem. Verification on Microsoft website tells me that my Windows is not genuine indicating there might be an incompatible program. The only thing I remember installing before this whole thing started was a codec for windows media player that prompted when I tried to play a file. In hindsight I shouldn't have done it, but I thought I wouldn't contract a virus by doing that. After clicking install nothing happened, so I figured I am screwed... Anyway here is the log.

Some one please help...

EDIT: Our helpers are all volunteers and have lives offline to live... They work as quickly as they can to help as many people as they can, but a wait of 3 days or more is not unusual... If you have been waiting for 3 days, the SWI Bot will post a message about how to get attention... It does NOT help to bump your topic since our helpers don't rely on the list of recent posts to determine who to help... They typically help the people who have waited the longest and if you keep bumping your post, it will look like you haven't been waiting at all... Please have patience... Thank you...

Hi,
I'm nasdaq and will be helping you.

Print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps.

After the fix if you still get the Error: 0xC004D401
Description: The security processor reported a system file mismatch error.
Check this article.
http://www.instant-r...ror-0xc004d401/
If you need help to proceed with any changes please let me know.

Disable Microsoft Windows Defender

We need to disable your Microsoft Windows Defender Real-time Protection as it may interfere with the fixes that we need to make.
  • Open Microsoft Windows Defender. Click Start, Programs, Windows Defender
  • Click on Tools, General Settings.
  • Under Real-time protection options, unselect the Turn on real-time protection check box
  • Click Save

After all of the fixes are complete it is very important that you enable Real-time Protection again.

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\Windows\system32\userinit.exe,C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\sdra64.exe,C:\Windows\system32\sdra64.exe,
O2 - BHO: WormRadar.com IESiteBlocker.NavFilter - {3CA2F312-6F6E-4B53-A66E-4E65E497C8C0} - C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgssie.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

Delete these files in bold if found.
C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\sdra64.exe
C:\Windows\system32\sdra64.exe

Restart the computer normally.

Download: CCleaner (freeware)
http://www.majorgeek...wnload4191.html

Once installed, run CCleaner click the Windows [tab]
The following should be selected by default, if not, please select:

Posted Image

Next: click Options click the Settings tab
Then click Run Cleaner (bottom right) then Exit
*/*

Download Security Check by screen317 from here or here.
  • Save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
  • A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

Include a fresh HijackThis log.

Let me know what problem persists.
