Laptop Slowdown

I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop running Windows XP Home and it has suddenly begun to bog down when trying to run processes. I've used Hijack This in the past to resolve an issue that is similar for a coworker so I thought I'd try it again.

As my wife grew aboslutely frustrated with my laptop last evening it dawned on me that when it freezes up or locks up it generally has to do with IE but it also takes FOREVER to boot and this is a 2.8G processor! HELP?!?!
