Hi please can you help, i keep getting a pop up message saying trojan horse downloader vidia b is found in file
C:/system volume information\_restore then a large amount of numbers in brackets, followed by .exe it then says run avg, which i have carried out. Once I have done this its says no trojans, however, this message keeps re-occuring
Is there anyway to remove this annoyance. Any help on this, I have also run trojan software and still it appears.

Thanks venus

C:/system volume information\_restore

The file is in the system restore archives, and cannot be removed by any A/V.
To remove it, disable system resore, and reboot. Then re enable system restore.

To disable system retore, right-click on "my computer" select Properties>system restore tab. Put a checkmark in the "turn off system restore" box, and click OK. Reboot.

That will purge all the old restore points, and files.

Then repeat the above process, this time removing the checkmark.
Now set a clean restore point.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!
