      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

I recently started playing World of Warcraft. After only 4 days during play I was suddenly kicked off the server. I logged in again but the same thing happened. Thought it was an internet provider or problem or something with their server so I left it. After some hours when i tried again I found out I had been banned due to some breech in the Terms of use Agreement. To cut a long story short after contacting Blizzard it turns out someone had hijacked my account and was responsible for the breech. Blizzard has agreed to reopen my acount but I am afraid of choosing a new password in case the maleware is still active in my computer. I found a help forum and followed the instructions. I did a Kaspersky Pure [trial version] scan but it showed nothing. The Ad-Aware scan found 3 infected cookies. The Spybot Search-and-Destroy scsn did find a trojan which it removed. This is the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware log:

Hello Newtoallthis. Welcome to SWI.

Please print out these instructions, or copy them to a Notepad file. It will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps.

Please download TFC.exe - Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer:

  • Save it to your Desktop.
  • Close any open windows, save your work,
  • Double click the TFC icon to run the program,
  • TFC will close all open programs itself in order to run,
  • Click the Start button to begin the process,
  • Allow TFC to run uninterrupted,
  • The program should not take long to finish it's job,
  • Once it's finished, click OK to reboot.

  • Download DDS by sUBs from one of the following links. Save it to your Desktop.

NOTE: Before scanning, make sure all other running programs are closed

There shouldn't be any scheduled antivirus scans running while the scan is being performed.

Do not use your computer for anything else during the scan.

[*]Double click on the DDS icon, allow it to run.

[*]A small box will open, with an explanation about the tool. No input is needed, the scan is running.

[*]Notepad will open with the results, click Yes to the Optional_Scan

[*]Follow the instructions that pop up for posting the results.

[*]Close the program window, and delete the program from your Desktop.

Finally, scan your machine with ESET OnlineScan

  • Hold down Control and click on the following link to open ESET OnlineScan in a new window.
    ESET OnlineScan
  • Click the esetOnline.png button.
  • For alternate browsers only: (Microsoft Internet Explorer users can skip these steps)
    • Click on esetSmartInstall.png to download the ESET Smart Installer. Save it to your Desktop.
    • Double click on the esetSmartInstallDesktopIcon.png icon on your Desktop.

    [*]Check esetAcceptTerms.png

    [*]Click the esetStart.png button.

[*]Accept any security warnings from your browser.

    [*]Check esetScanArchives.png

    [*]Push the Start button.

[*]ESET will then download updates for itself, install itself, and begin scanning your computer. Please be patient as this can take some time.

[*]When the scan completes, push esetListThreats.png

[*]Push esetExport.png, and save the file to your Desktop using a unique name, such as ESETScan. Include the contents of this report in your next reply.

    [*]Push the esetBack.png button.

    [*]Push esetFinish.png

Please post:

DDS log.

ESet Report.

And let me know if any problems remain.

Rocket Grannie.
