Any time i start internet explorer up, i get a weird popup, and even when i start my computer i get the same pop ups...i don't know what it is, but i think it came from something called www.35mb.com, a downloading host, where you have to install their crap before downloading things hosted by them...here's the log, i can't tell what's supposed to be here and what's not...thanks for the help.

*bump* on start up, three popups automatically load, one called Tickle:Tests, Matchmaking, and Social Network, one called Tickle: Matchmaking and Online Dating, and the third called Sleepover. and even after i close them, my computer gets really slow. and when i hit start shutdown, it logs off and prepares to turn off, but then automatically restarts up rather than shutting down.

First, uninstall P2P Networking through Add/Remove Programs. If/when asked whether you also want to remove Altnet components, say 'Yes'.
P2P Networking is a totally useless Kazaa add-on, and it's been reported to be responsible for serious system slowdowns.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

i followed all of the steps, but i could not find p2p in the add/remove programs. unfortunately, the lag still persists (even while i was typing this). and also, any ideas on why my computer restarts even though i click shut down? thanks.

It looks from your log that you may be infected with the Win32 spotcom trojan.
See www.symantec.com/avcenter/ venc/data/backdoor.spotcom.html, for details.
