OK, so I have some sort of spyware or virus on my pc that I can't seem to get rid of. I have tried McAfee AntiVirus, Spybot, Spyware Blaster, Adaware, and Spy Doctor. Nothing seems to get rid of it. Spybot S&D finds something (DSO exploits) - and I delete them, but then when I run the scan again later, it shows the same problem. Last night I purchased Mcafee Anti Spyware. After I installed it and ran the scan, it found a few things that were removed, but then every time I get back on the internet, as soon as I go to look at my dropdown favorites menu – there they are!! And a second screen pops up with the casino palazzo on it.

I did find a few things on my pc that it either changed or added – telnetxp was in my Windows/System32 file – it had the same icon as the shortcut and when I clicked on it- it took me to the casino. There was also a modem helper shortcut in my start menu that did the same thing. I deleted those things, but the Telnetxp keeps coming back.

So here is what happens after I delete everything and then get back on the internet…

1. There is a shortcut added on my desktop to a casino
2. There are a bunch of favorites added in my "favorites" in internet explorer
3. A separate internet explorer window opens up with casinopallazo.com on it
4. While surfing the net, I am re-directed to a website that I was not going to go to - Easy search.com or sometimes porn – the porn opens up with 10 or so windows and I can’t get them to close.

FYI – I uninstalled spybot and adaware last night after installing Mcafee Anti Spyware, since it told me they were incompatible. I spoke to a tech guy live this morning and he told me to turn off my backup and then run it and run scan disc, which I did, and it found nothing, and even after deleting everything (like I have 10 times already) it all came back! Aargh.

OK - here is the Hijack this log:

The thread in http://www.computerc...ostp226121.html discusses the same problem.

In particular, read the responses by jbrown7711 and brkerez -- one of them should be relevant to your situation.

Hope this helps.
