Hello,

I've been having problems with my PC for the last 2 weeks caused by some malware that infected my PC through IE. I've since stopped using IE and am now using Mozilla, but am having trouble removing some remaining spyware.

I've run Adaware, and installed Adwatch, which does not seem to find anything. When I run Spybot, it comes up with 3 things, 2 of which it tells me can't be removed, and the 3rd of which gets removed but immediately comes back. This happens even when I run Spybot in safe mode. The first 2 are:
eAcceleration
Global Internet Billing

The 3rd (which gets removed but keeps coming back) is Data Source Object (DSO) Exploit. If anyone can help me clean my PC I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Dave

I figured since the forum was down I'd repost. Any suggestions?

We need a closer look at what's happening.
Please download Hijack this
Copy it into its own folder, doubleclick HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, do Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!
