bridge.dll is spyware that is already removed. Windows is still trying to load it resulting in the error message.
Before you run hijackthis, put it in it's own folder like C:\Downloads\HJT\HijackThis.exe. Backup files will be placed there.

In hjt fix this line:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll",Load
That should fix your error message.

You have another entry I suspect.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [dmwgqlfk] C:\WINDOWS\System32\revmhpya.exe

But, lets wait for one of the experts here to comment on that.

bump

Quite correct JG427!
Those are the two to remvove.

Before clicking the fix checked button in Hijack this, ensure that ALL other windows are closed.
After fixing, reboot, and delete the file C:\WINDOWS\System32\revmhpya.exe

Thanks for the help, everything seems clean now. Do either of you know what ndw.exe is?

lillypad92b Hijack this, is a very useful tool, written by Merijn Bellekom for tracking the programs/processes running on a computer. It is used here for the detection/removal of malware in all (most) of it's forms.

Hijack This not only hows these processes, but also allows the "fixing" or removal of malicious items.

The difference is that Hijack this only removes what it is told and has no way of telling if the selected item is malicious, or a vital windows process, so that skilled intervention is needed.
