      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Some Form of Malware- Can't Get Rid!!!

3 posts in this topic

I have tried so many things now... I'm desperate to get rid of this. It's a toolbar called search2web (I think), and it does some interesting things. First: It makes it so that all the words related to spyware, viruses, adaware, and (???) cellphone ringtones are highlighted orange and made links to bogus sites (such as a spyware removal program costing 80 dollars, with no trial!).

It also installed a bunch of icons (weblinks) onto my desktop...

I've run hijack this and deleted at least one thing relating to the toolbar. But I need help... here's my log:

Running processes:

Please help! Spyware and Adaware refuse to believe that anything's up... they're seemingly useless. I had an "instant access" folder and scanned it with both and they said nothing was wrong. Argh.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

O2 - BHO: ohb - {4D568F0F-8AC9-40AB-88B7-415134C78777} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\winb2s32.dll

Reboot after fixing.

Please post a followup Hijack this log, and say if your problems persist.
