Hi,

Please provide a link for the topic that discusses the Security Analysis by Rocket Grannie tool.

I understand how to use the tool and I thank you for developing it. Is there a topic where the tool is discussed in some detail showing the full range of areas and products it scans?

Thank you,

Ray S.

Hello RayS45

I  have moved your topic to a more suitable forum.

The Security Analysis discussion topic is in Boot Camp.

The Boot Camp is a hidden forum where you can learn the ropes and advance to Helper. Experts and others will be there to guide you and answer your questions. A lot of good info there.

http://www.spywarein...lware-training/

However, I am happy to discuss the program in general with you here.

Basically, it queries the user's computer to ascertain:

Which version of Windows is on the computer.

What versions of security programs are currently installed on the computer. Also it shows if any of these programs are out of date.

I hope this helps to answer your question.

Hi RG,

Thank you for the quick reply.

I was hoping to see a list of which security programs the tool checks. If this is proprietary info, please disregard my request.

Thank you,

Ray

Hi RG,

Many thanks for the list. I'm using CryptoPrevent from  http://www.foolishit.../cryptoprevent/

I wanted to confirm whether SA scans for current version of CryptoPrevent. Now that I know SA does not scan for CP, I'll check for updates manually.

I appreciate having the use of your tool.

Best regards,

Ray
