Hello folks,

Sorry if this post had been answered before in someplace I haven't looked, but...
I have a client with some strange activity going on in their system. I ran AdAware, cleaned out a number of things, ran WinPatrol and confirmed that nothing out of the ordinary was running at startup. I then tried running HiJackThis and got an "Unexpected Error" message. and the program closed down. I had downloaded the latest version on the website (this was two or three days ago).

Is there a workaround or a fix for this?

Thanks for your help,

Charlie T.

Can they still run 1.97.7?

Well it hasn't quite reached the point where 1.98 is necessary for everyone, so perhaps they can clear up the problem with 1.97.7 and then be able to run 1.98
