I have tried downloading all the listed spyware correctors, including HiJack This. My web browser still has the about:blank title, which I am unable to change. Can anyone help please? Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I should have put this in Malware. Re-posted to correct area

Hi there Lady in red,
I had the same problem and fixed it like this.
Download CWShredder from merijn.

another way is to click on Start, click on OPEN and type REGEDIT then ok
you are now in the windows registry. Hold down the Control key and hit the F key.
Type in the box, About blank and click Next search and wait. When its finished searching, look for a key called About blank and DELETE it

CWShredder though is great for getting rid of Trojens

Hi Victor. I tried using the SWShredder, but in vain, I am afraid. I deleted all of the 'about:blank' entries. but something keeps adding them back in to the list again :o(
