I have both Ad-Aware and Spy-bot, both keep coming up with DSO and HKEY problems, but the root cause doesn't seem to be being removed and they keep coming back.

The effect is that, after opening IE once without the hyjack, something reinstalls the browser. It seems to be an "about:blank" one, but I can't spot the program(s) that are reinstalling it.

I have tried getting rid of mfplay.dll/sp.html (obfuscated) but after the IE browser is Hyjacked, it comes back.

Could someone please take a look through the following HijackThis log and give me some suggestions for tracking down the problem please?

I have looked through the suggested CLSID lists, and followed links from the tutorial, but can't find anything that seems to relate to my particular problem. I did manage to get rid of some of the spyware and other 'nasties' but this one has beaten me.

Thanks. HijackThis log, after Easy Search has reinstalled itself, as follows.

Fixed it!

Using a combination of AVG and CWShredder I finally rid my PC of the trojan and associated malware.

Now to tighten the system so that it wont come back!
