      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

about:blank back

4 posts in this topic

Help,

I've done everything that the the guide in this forum said to remove about:blank. I thought I had it licked but after a while the about:blank comes right back. I tried to download the newest vers. of about:buster but I still get a 339 error message. I went windows and down loaded the fix to no avail. Here's my HJT log after running everything

Hi there,

After looking at your logfile, I can see nothing bad on it. Are you still having problems?

Thanks 12G. I hav'nt had any problems yet. Although after running HJT I had a couple of R0 and R1 items noting about blank. I tried to clear them however got this message:

An unexpected error has occurred at procedure: cmdFix_Click()

Error #75 - Path/File access error (29 items in results list)

Please email me at merijn@spywareinfo.com, reporting the following:

* What you were doing when the error occurred

* How you can reproduce the error

* A complete HijackThis scan log, if possible

Windows version: Windows NT 5.01.2600

MSIE version: 6.0.2800.1106

HijackThis version: 1.98.0

This message has been copied to your clipboard. Thanks again for looking at my log.

I did however manage to remove them from the registry. I'm sorry but in my haste (and disgust) I forgot to save the log. I'll not do that again. I'll keep you posted as to any other problems. Again, Thank you
