Hi there,

I can see nothing suspicious on your log, apart from this. And it is an opional fix. If you want to fix it do this,

Make sure all browsers and windows are closed except for hijackthis and put a check against the following and click 'fix checked';

O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Office.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\OSA9.EXE<<<<These items are considered to be resource hogs that are not needed and it may be worthwhile to fix them with HJT. You will still be able to start them manually if you need them...

I did what you suggested but no improvement yet. It's strange -- As if my computer will never finish loading apps. at least 1/2 hour to boot. And it started with a CWS trojan.

Thanks for your help. I'm going to recover my hard disk and start from scratch. I won't for the next half hour so if you have any ideas let me know. otherwise, Thanks again for you help.

Looks like the different time zone has got us here. I would have suggested you run a StartupList log for me, but I guess I'm too late :wave:
