:( Since a few days I'm (my computer) infected by CWS. My Startpage is always changed to http://homepage.com. I tried running CWShredder, it didn't worked. I downloaded hijackthis and am posting now my log. The files :
- C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WMIEXE.EXE
- O2 - BHO: (no name) - {834261E1-DD97-4177-853B-C907E5D5BD6E} - C:\DPE.DLL
look suspicious to me.

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\DDHELP.EXE I've already removed (because of a virus) and I already updated my JVM.

Can someone help me ? Thanks in advance.
Dirk.

I'm having the same problem. CWShredder finds cwx.searchx , removes it, but really soon it comes back. Anyone found a solution yet?

Update: i've found this post.
http://www.spywarein...es.html#searchx

seems that this one is only removable by doing a lot of editing in the registry.

I'll try and let you know if it worked out.
