From this site...
http://www.spysweepe...-uninstall.html

..I found this
Mysearch Uninstall step4: Remove these registry items (if present) HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{014da6c9-189f-421a-88cd-07cfe51cff10} HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{014da6cd-189f-421a-88cd-07cfe51cff10}

How do I delete those registry items or whatīs it called?

sbsd,
Click on "Start", then on "Run...", fill in "regedit" (without quotes) and click on OK, which opens the "Registry Editor".

Thanks. I found this folder. But it was in capitol letters. For example the folder clsid but in capitol letters so it was CLSID, but maybe that doesnīt matter?:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\clsid\{014da6c9-189f-421a-88cd-07cfe51cff10}

Do I dare to delete it? Should I delete the folder itself or only the file within this folder? Will my computer break down if I delete it or is it no problem?

Under the headline "Data" it say that this file doesnīt have any stated value or what it is translated to in English.

sbsd,
If you are not sure what you are doing.
I strongly advice you to read the FAQ first and do what other members do when they have troubles.

Sorry I donīt understand what you mean really. I have read the FAQ but it doesnīt say anything about this? :wtf:
Iīve also made a hijackthis log and got help from some nice advisor in this forum, but it couldnīt quite be fixed so I searched the internet for removal help and found this and just asked about it.

Anyone?

I just want a simple answer, at least I think it is.

If I go into folder HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and then into folder CLSID and finally folder {014DA6C9-189F-421a-88CD-07CFE51CFF10} and then I can see a file in the right side of the screen.

What I wonder is if I can delete the folder {014DA6C9-189F-421a-88CD-07CFE51CFF10}? Can I simply delete it by right-click on the folder and the chose delete? Will my computer crash if I do this or is it safe to delete it?

Thanks.

As long as you are deleting only that, you should be fine. Make a backup of the entire registry just in case it does cause problems.
