Hi everybody

I have a problem with Notepad.exe from my windows 98 SE
the problem started when I've been infected with ehttp.cc virus
After a search on google, I've find a site with an application to uninstall ehttp.cc
but since that, I haven't been able to run Notepad.exe: it always return me an error of "invalid application", even if I try to delete it and copy a new Notepad program from other PC
what can I do to resolve my problem?

please help me
thanks

You can do one of two things.
Either go into safe mode and delete what is left
of notepad.exe and download a new copy from
http://www.spywarein.../downloads.html
(Click on Windows Files at far left.)
Or you can repair Notepad.exe using your sfc tool,
then making sure you have a valid, clean copy in
Windows/dllcache and windows/system32. (Copy/Paste a copy into
these files.)
