"Hidden" Spyware Removal Tools

My C:\ drive contains the following:

spybotsd13.exe
cwshredder.exe
hijackthis.exe

among other various things that should be in a C drive.

However, I can NOT see the above listed files if I view them from my computer. If I view it from the network: \\mycpuname\c$ I can see them just fine.

I have updated and run Adaware, Spybot, housecall.trendmicro.com, bazooka, cwshredder, and hijack this - and now show that i'm 100% clean.

I was able to run them from the command line - but for obvious reasons, I would like to be able to actually SEE the files in my file system.

Any help on this would be appreciated :)

Make sure you are set to show hidden files and folders:
Show Hidden Files and Folders
