      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

CWS strain

Hi Newbie to all this malware stuff so please be gentle with me!!

First off we ran McAfee AV, Ad Aware, McAfee stinger updated all the scanned PC. Deleted the spyware found by Ad Aware. McAfee found no bugs. We then updated the O/S from the windows update website.

We have a machine that keeps suffering a browser hijack related to cool web search (I think). The homepage is redirected to a c:\res location and adaware will find at least 3 registry keys including one in the Winnt folder which is a dll file. I have so far tried:

Safe mode Hijack this fixed the BHO, deleted the registry keys and the .dll in Winnt. Adaware then scans and finds no problems. All IE temp files, cookies deleted. We then ran About Buster and fixed/deleted what it suggested. However when I re-start in normal the dll is re-created in Winnt (with another name) and we get pop-up when opening IE and the home pages is reset to C:\res....

Below is the HJT log before fixing. What I really need is to find the program that re-creates the dll in Winnt I guess?
