DSO Exploit and Possible Hijacker keeps showing up when I use spybot. I try to fix it and it keeps returning.... Also, I can't hear my dial up connection when I connect to the internet. It used to make a dialing noise and a sound, now that disappeared.

Here's my hijackthis log:

You have a Remote Access Trojan in your log.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Service] C:\WINDOWS\System32\msrexe.exe

Reboot and delete the file C:\WINDOWS\System32\msrexe.exe

This may be a hidden file. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Please post a followup Hijack this log, and say if your problems persist.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!

I still can't hear my dial up connection when I connect to the internet. It used to make a dialing noise and a sound, now that has disappeared and I don't hear anything.

When I run Spybot it still says Possible Hijacker. Should I be concerned with this.

The Possible Hijacker involves the global settings and it says internet explorer\styles\use my style sheet!

Here's the new hijackthis log:

I have another question...

I go to Run command, type REGEDIT,
get to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\don't load\

I didn't find inetcpl.cpl, but found ncpa.cpl & odbccp32.cpl

should I delete those two???

Please help me fix my computer... it's been messed up for weeks now...

Your log looks clean.
The modem speaker may have been turned off by that trojan, in order to conceal attempts to dial out.

Open Control Panel>Phone & Modem options.
Click on the modem tab, and select the modem you have installed.
Then click on Properties.
In the properties window, select the modem tab, and check the speaker volume.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!

I followed your directions and the sound level was in the middle but I still don't hear the internet connection. I turned it up to the highest and I still don't hear anything.... Is it possible that I still have some kind of virus or hacker in my computer?

When I surf the net I've been seeing the little red privacy icon at the bottom of the page. I view the privacy report and some of the sites listed are doubleclick.net and atdmt.com.

I can't check my seller status on ebay anymore. When I try to connect to it with the secure connection, a security warning flashes up and says my information may be directed to an unsecure site, do I want to continue? I always click "no" because I think somebody is trying to steal my credit card information.

I don't know what's wrong with my computer.
