Please direct me to where this question would be answered if not in this forum.

I posted my first time, and immediately got a warning meter by my name...with a 0% by it. When I click on it, there is no message; therefore, I have no idea what in my post was in question.

I have followed the links for clarification and I understand there should be a note regarding the infraction, again, there is none.

Could someone please explain?

Thank you.

The warn feature is one of the new features of the upgraded software here. It lets administrators or moderators warn a person privately that their posts are getting out of line.

Other admins and moderators can see the warn level, and all members can see their own level. You can't see anyone else's.

Your posting rights can be suspended manually using the warn feature. Posting rights are automatically suspended after 3 warnings for a short period.

Thanks, Acsell, for answering. I had seen that information but it didn't answer my question.

Where can I find out what I did to warrant a warning? Or, is the warning meter (set at zero with no note attached) something every member gets, and it is only a true warning when the % is >0 with a note of explanation?

Hi Kentucki,

Every user of the forum has a warn meter that only they (and the mods) can see, they all start at 0%. It's nothing to worry about unless it goes above 0%
