I downloaded adaware and updated and quaranteened 390 entries and also spybot .(before this I bought symantec's norton anti-virus 2004 and ran which removed a lot of stuff.) Cannot run the auto update because I cannot get access to symantec's web site.(no help on the phone--you'll never get a human voice..)

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.
