Uninstall Wintools from Add/Remove. it will prompt for reboot. do that and reboot.
also have a look IF you find PartyPoker .

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked.

Reboot

Download Ad-aware from here: http://www.computerc...s-file-292.html
Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
After installing but before running, update Ad-aware by using its Globe icon.
After updating, shutdown and restart Ad-aware.
Ad-aware is ready to scan and clean your system following these steps:

Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:
"Unload recognized processes during scanning."
Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Cleaning Engine:
"Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."
Press "Scan Now"
Check option "Use Custom scanning options"
Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"
Press "Select drives\folders to scan"
Select the active partition which is usually C:
Press "Next" to let Ad-aware scan your drives...
If it finds "bad" files and registry keys, press "Next" again
Right-click in that pane and choose "select all"
Press "next"
When it asks to remove all checked items, Press "OK"
Close Ad-aware, reboot your system and go on to Step 2 below.

Spybot S&D
The download for Spybot S&D is available here: http://www.computerc...s-file-108.html

Install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
Run Spybot S&D from desktop icon or Start menu.
Press "Search for updates" button to get list of updates available.
Press "Download updates" button.
Close all IE windows and close & restart Spybot S&D.
Press "Check for problems" button.
Have SpyBot remove all it marks in red by pressing "Fix selected problems".

Close Spybot S&D, reboot your system .

Go for free online Virus scans here:

http://housecall.tre.../start_corp.asp
http://www.pandasoft...com/activescan/

Be sure and put a check in the box by "Auto Clean" before you do the scan. If it finds anything that it cannot clean have it delete it or make a note of the file location so you can delete it yourself.

Then browse to the C:\documents and settings\\User Name (repeat for all users)\local settings\temp folder and delete all files and folders in it.
Then browse to the C:\Windows\Temp folder and delete all files in it.
Then in internet explorer click tools>internet Options>General. Click on Delete Files make sure you get all offline content as well.

Run HijackThis again and pls. post a FRESH log. thanks.

Hi, I fixed all that was specified in the Hijackthis log and I deleted all the files you told me too. Now i have a worse problem. When I rebooted it gave me a boot disk error. And when I restarted it went to check disk and it just hangs there. I tried to boot into safe mode and it freezes there too at the Windows loading screen. Not sure what to do now....do i have to reformat?

That's strange - did you run ad aware and spybot ? It cleaned up the remnants?

What is the exact error you are getting?

The error was before windows would boot. It gave a boot disk error or no boot disk. Then when i restarted Windows wanted to check the disks for consistency. It checks for a little while and then it freezes. I wasnt able to do the adaware check. Thats where it started actually. I ran adaware and then it froze in midprocess. I rebooted and then all this madness happens

also...for the portion of the time that check disk is able to run step 1 i think it is. It finds 4 files or sections(not sure) that it cannot read. If i try to skip the check disk it loads windows but it freezes shortly after.

Did you already go to Housecall??

Maybe it would best - to download McAfee's STINGER to get rid of the viruses.

Here is the link:

http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/

Maybe it's the spyware and or viruses why you are having trouble??

Pls. let me know how you are doing.
